It won't be a surprise to know that both my Maharashtra and Karnataka CET sucked. My dad's a great man really. He asks me today morning when I refused to go for counseling: why did you agree to give Karnataka CET in the first place? Like hell I did, I thought. He was the one that said, oh keep your options open. Damn options. I didn't want to piss him off more and that's the only reason why I agreed. Now he goes and gets pissed anyway. You don't make sense man!
Anyway, I had to go to my hometown to give the stupid exam. I hate that place. Their bathroom is tiny and there's never any electricity and oh, by the way, most of the things in the house belongs to us, why do you give us so much attitude? Unlike my mother, who loves grumbling about it all, I didn't really care. But a girl like me needs my morning milk. A nice big mug of it. The food: disgusting. I barely ate anything. Plenty of hygiene problems too. The water tasted... wow, you don't want to know.
And the centre of the exam. Dusty, hot, and everyone looked dazed as though they were going for a movie or something. The canteen was like a road side dhaba. Worse even than that. And I had to spend two hours in a stuffy underground room while I waited for my next paper to start. They called that place an "office". Really.
And I want to strangle the idiot who decided to release Percy Jackson 5 only in the US and UK on 5th May. I almost diiiiied.
And my computer's not better. Still useless piece of junk that does not deserve to be called a computer. And the worst part is, its all I have.
Anyway, it might not be completely hopeless. Might now, if my dad will spend a bit for us for a change. Today evening, hopefully, if nothing goes wrong and we don't draw out our swords and bare our fangs, we'll be going to check out some laptops.
Next post, I'll write about my anime and manga rush. *Yawn*
